We’re Erik, Angèle, and our son Alexander, the family behind Wild Streak Farm.

Erik and Angèle met in Montreal while attending university and working together in a restaurant. From the start, we bonded over our love of people, food, music, and community — and those values continue to shape everything we're building today.

After the birth of our son during COVID, we decided to leave the city and move to the countryside in search of a slower, healthier, and more grounded way of life. We first settled in Chute-à-Blondeau, a small village on the Ontario and Quebec border, where we began gardening, and reconnecting with where our food comes from.

What started as a small front yard garden and a growing interest in homesteading quickly turned into something much bigger.

As our vision continued to grow, we eventually made the move to a 77-acre property in Apple Hill, Ontario, to bring Wild Streak Farm to life.

Over the past several years, we’ve spent countless hours learning about regenerative growing practices, food systems, and how to grow healthy, high-quality food in a way that feels sustainable and meaningful.

Along the way, we also became more aware of how difficult it can be to consistently find good food locally. Grocery prices keep rising, produce quality keeps declining, and even though more people want to support local farms, it can still feel inconvenient or inaccessible at times.

That’s a big part of why Wild Streak Farm exists.

Our goal is to grow healthy food while making it easier for busy families in rural and small-town communities to access fresh, high-quality food. Alongside our own produce, we're building a farm hub that brings together food from trusted farmers and producers across our region and Ontario.

More than anything, we want Wild Streak Farm to feel connected — to the land, to the community, and to the people who eat the food we grow.
